Sorry I can't agree with that nickoo for at least 2 reasons.
1. You're wrong on your initial entry. Asuming you have done DD you have missed something important. Therefore the whole trade is flawed.
2. You have an emotional and financial commitment to the original trade which makes it difficult to act objectively.
Having said that I did average down once and got away with it but that was in a raging bull market (1999). Looking back on it I can't believe I was so stupid.
Sorry I can't agree with that nickoo for at least 2 reasons.1....
