rogar I am very sorry to hear of your loss.
The stock market has a habbit of doing that but you need to keep your head up and know that you will have plenty of opportunity to make it up and more as you are still young and have your health.
Dont dwell on it (probably the most difficult thing to do) and keep positive as things will hopefully only get better.
Just a word of caution from my experience DONT be tempted to take large risks in trying to make your loss back quickly as you will end up with more of a loss.(believe me I know)
Maybe take some time off and do something you enjoy and once you are thinking clearly make plans as to how you will work to make it up.
