If good management isn't reflected in the shareprice then all the bank stocks out there must have got pretty lucky.....consistently rising shareprice, record profits and dividends each year....lucky buggers....

And you can't say that Simon hasn't had things handed to him on a platter either.....commencement of Ching production and what could have been the catagoric announcement of two significant oil discoveries in uganda.

It was Simon that mentioned there was going to be a re-rating of the price as soon as Ching started flowing. It wasn't raised by shareholders. He specifically said this and it's not happening. That's why I'm dissapointed with him. Add the fact that last week he said the interpretation of wireline logs from waraga would be announced in the coming days, only to have nothing announced. When he makes promises and doesn't deliver, it does nothing but reflect poorly on his management skills imho.

The good thing for him is that this will all be forgotten shortly. By the time we actually get to confront him at the next roadshow or agm, I'm sure all will be well with the shareprice. I really hope so anyway.
