On the 11 December 2014, Qantas made a major reshuffle of senior management and the share price fell about 5% on the day. IMO I think today's fall (based on the last time) was contributed to the announcement with regards to the senior executives restructure. In the long term this is good for Qantas however it also put the focus on the CEO position.
Your reasons for today's fall are just as valid and in time we'll see how Qantas SP fairs.
