It must really annoy you when you read all these silly posts making out AED to be the best punt on the ASX.
90% plus of the current posters on HC are shareholders who bought AED after it hit $1.01. They have no idea or tend to ignore the fact that investors such as yourself were paying up to $11.40 a share just over 6 months ago.
Unfortunately your situation is typical of many investors who went into AED last year. Many bought between $5 and $9 and then saw the share price trashed by gross mismanagement.
All the full service brokers my associates and I deal with privately acknowledge they have multiple clients trapped in this at up to $10 plus a share.
Taking your tax loss now before the inevitable avalanche of tax loss selling next month is a smart move.
