It looked like the traders were exiting before a weekend, but you can be very sure they will be back to make things interesting on Monday.
The rhetoric of a government sliding in popularity into an election campaign has already softened considerably, and the death spiral of the budget with the GP co-payment flop would still be fresh in their memories. I would not be surprised at all to hear "diagnostic imaging" and "off the table" in the same sentence.
