Hi If the children get a clip behind the ear or on their bum at home there should be no need to hit them in public . There is a big degree between a tap on the bum to remind them and the beltings that some kids are subjected to I have no problems with having the ruler snapped over my fingers or the strap when I deserved them Cheers Towie
