You can have confidence that front-line management are kicking their guts out to win work, improve margins and cut costs..I am one of them.
Unfortunately, the non-performance of the board and the CEO are presently to the detraction of the company. We have no control over the board or the CEO appointment, and very difficult to maneouvre considering the CEO is the majority shareholder. I worry that by even saying that, it's grounds for dismissal but as a shareholder I believe it is my right and it's obvious to any outside the company also.
The best scenario for Savcor presently is an improvement in the CenCorp share price, allowing us to dump them and reduce the debt.
On the plus side, our order book is going well in 2011....more than that, I cannot comment.
