With the current market cap - getting funding will be the issue. I can see two possible scenarios
    a) RXM will do a JV where RXM holds 20% and the other party holds 80%. This way RXM funding of the 20% is possible or
    b) RXM puts a nice bow around the PFS and puts the "For Sale" sign at the company front door.
I am happy to discuss alternative ideas, but currently cannot see any.

I have been a long term holder of Rex Minerals and I am a bit curious as to what is eventually going to happen and read with interest many suggestions . I have a suggestion that may be a probable.

Rex Minerals have a lease running from Hillside to far North along the Pine Point Copper Fault and that I believe runs for some 60 klms . If I recall the Hillside sight was the 3rd preference or the 3rd most favored of the main interesting zones. It was so lucky that the Hillside came up trumps and since then no time has really been spent on the other two major zones of interest , Ardrossan, White Hills and many other close by to Hillside classified as regionals. As you recall some time ago Rex Minerals has purchased the land where the currnt project stands. The way I see it at the moment it will be a mighty big ask for this project to get of the ground as it needs some huge capital costs and that will be the Rex nightmare to get there hands on the capital required. So I believe that the priority of the Directors at the moment is to go full staem ahead with the Pre Feasability study , and it so happens that the capital raising of $42million falls right into place to see the PFS through. After that study has been completed I believe Rex will be looking at creating another company as similiar to the White Rock Minerals (WRM) exercise.
So it will be Rex Minerals selling to the highest bidder say at a a 80% sale and retention of 20% for cash flow purposes etc. With the proceeds of the Sale rex Minerals still retain the unexplored 60kjms of the Pine Point Copper Fault with some very enticing drilling sights in mind.
It is possible that one of their priority sights may be as big if not bigger than Hillside. It is only a thought but I can see that as Rex has not many options that this could be a big possibility for them. The new owner of the Hillside mine can take their time and they can develop it at their own pace knowing that nothing stands in their way after the PFS. It will be some big investment for the right people.
This would be a reward to the long term holders as well. I am not an expert in these matters but I can see something along these lines a real possibility. At the end of the day we are still all guessing hence the message to the Directors , Do Something .
