If God is a reality then the dead would know the truth, at least regarding their actions in this life.
If the dead know nothing then God does not exist.
It's the living we have to worry about, so many follow religious beliefs that defy reality, logic and reason and just like Alice they can believe 6 impossible things before breakfast.
