what do you mean the mine life isn't long? the open cut operation has an estimated life of 2~ years, and we know that open cut mining is very inexpensive, profits from that would be put towards the underground operations, as soon as cci gets off its feet and starts movin the chrome things'll be sweet.
Yeh I know 500k isn't a huge amount but you're forgetting there aren't alot've overheads at the moment, should last them another few months at least - touch wood.
