The Niobrara in the DJ Basin is is looking like it might be the next Bakken. This is substantiated by the fact that one of the leaders in the Bakken, EOG has drilled a 1700 BOPD well using the same technology that developed the Bakken.

This technolgy has not been used generally in the Niobrara however like the Bakken is an estblished producing horizon. SSN's Niobrara acreage in the DJ Basin in Wyoming is considerable (50,000 acres) and provides a very large potential value add.
