There are a few popints which give me reason for concern:
1. The 20.x% deal being reduced to below 20% soon after the deal was completed, as I see the timing.
2. The need for shareholder approval of the deal.
3. Should an announcement be so positive that the shareprice moves considerably higher, would an EGM or AGM approve the deal?
4. If no announcement is forthcoming, or a poor outcome of the analyses is announced, the shareprice would drop yet the deal would stand. So an AGM or EGM would approve the deal.
5. What would GAU do with the money? Persist with Platinum or look for greener pastures?
Its just a hypothetical thought, but the lack of any announcement or share price movement gives me cause for concern.
