"Not too many business people in there anyway."
I don't want too many ex business people in a government. Running a country is NOT like running a business. One of the problems with some politicians and their supporters is that they think a country is like one big business and only business people know how to run it.
A good government is one which has ministers from different backgrounds.
Some here thought John Howard was the greatest prime minister Australia has had. Well, news for you, he was a lawyer.
Some here thought Peter Costello was the greatest treasurer Australia has had. Well, again, news for you, he was a lawyer.
Robert Menzies was a lawyer.
Name me a successful western leader who had had a successful business career before entering politics ? Not many.
