as far as short selling brokers go i count at least 10 still in operation just from a simple google search so if BMN still has some shorting going on ( would be less judging by the depth and course of trades today) then it might be one of the 10 still in busienss, lift is looking shaky check the various general threads about it but that still leaves 9 with about $15B between em in values. Thats not including the big boys comsec, etrade, nab online the 10 are the smaller ones that allow more risk taking and down outside the asx200
