NoBoDe, wow 8 million kilometers or miles? I thought that I have driven a lot as I've driven in 40 odd countries but nowhere near 8 million kilometers. Thats more than 500 kms every day x 365 x 60 years. I'm currently driving in whats considered as a dangerous country, as everybody is an idiot on the roads here in Thailand. Thailand, is now designated as the worlds most country to drive in.
So many killed on the roads every day. Here nobody gives way to anyone else, they drive on the wrong side of the road, overtake on blind corners.
Most Thais cannot even pass a driving test, they just pay some corruption money and they get a licence.
A mate had his girl friend go for a bike licence, and she came home with a car licence too. My mate asked, "how did you get a car licence, you can't drive".
"Oh" she said " It only cost 500 baht ($20) extra so now I can tell my friends that I can drive"
"Well you're not driving my car" my mate said
