Notions of needing to be saved hark back to false understandings that somehow Adam sinned and this original sin washes through the blood of all of us. Who could possibly see original sin in their new born child because of some transgression committed by so called, Adam?

This defies reason and justice and is therefore impossible and would render the God of the Middle Eastern or Jewish line of religious beliefs the most vindictive, unjust of beings. It is simply a confusion that started with the fathers of certain religions and is yet to be rectified.

As for Jesus dying for our sins. Not even Jesus can die for your sins. Nobody but yourself is responsible for your spiritually or lack thereof. You own your misdemeanours and their consequence. You can't be saved, you have to save yourself. It starts with independent thought so as to weed through the rubbish and error taught by religion.
