I rate MFF very highly and trust Chris Mackay to do the right thing by shareholders. Remember he is also the largest shareholder so he is 100% into this. The MFF Options have rewarded shareholders. The fact that they have sold down the portfolio to cash has meant they have now paid significant tax which is now sitting on the franking account.
The large exposure to Visa, MasterCard and even Home Depot are very defensive, but still offer solid upside. I will be very interested in how they deploy the cash. I also expect they will release more franked dividends like earlier this year.
current price at discount to Nta, to me, is an opportunity.
