Are we all reliant on when Gina Lionheart decides to let the SP run on its merits, imo there is nothing stopping her from manipulating the SP with volumes of trading that at the end of the day still leaves her with a sub 19.9% holding . If she owns $700m worth of shares and plays with 5% of that holding to control SP movements, that $35m is still way more than an average days trading volume and I doubt she would have to declare anything associated with her substantial holding if it goes to 18% at any stage of the trading day. That’s not to mention the shorts also backing her up along the way so while SQM, Albemarle can run up 7% and 9% in a session our lithium stocks are left to flounder with a token gain for the day making a mockery of Australia’s lithium mining assets.
