How do you know the experience you had was the norm? Maybe it was a one off bad experience? If you really have an issue with it, call back, speak to the call centre team leader and say what experience you had. They record all calls so can go through the call and listen to it for quality of service - QoS
I think it is unfair using the words like "arrogance, idiot, disdain etc.
The more data you have on someone, the richer the data analysis and output. So yes having a large quantity of data is very beneficial when providing scoring models and scores. It isn't the be and end all for credit providers, but it enhances their own personal customer data, comparing it against the general population.
Do you know why Facebook is worth as much as it is? because of the data held and reach on each user.
I used to work for Veda and like all companies, there are good and bad aspects of the company and people. As a whole, I think Veda is a great company to work for and people behind it are the same.
