Appreciate an actual debate on a difference of opinion Teddy.
Wasn't sure about the identity recognition myself. But it led me to the idea of facial recognition in these surveillance devices. And how quickly that market is growing.
A look around the web showed me yes, there is facial recognition out there but it is just that, simple, held back by poor resolution cameras and basic software. That 14 point system our Gov is investing in will be knocked out of the water by Agnosco's 64 points. Aee has the quality cameras, can see why they are excited by the software to match.
Seems like using the cloud will be the first applications until batteries catch up.
Law enforcement officials have commended plans to install face recognition on body-worn police cameras that could directly check against warrant records in the cloud. - See more at: http://www.planetbiometrics.com/art...dy-worn-cameras-by-2017/#sthash.1yIyoeRu.dpuf
