off the top of my head.

spray gun = more training for surgeons, more expensive to purchase, high maintainence/servicing costs, hygiene issues(constant need to be sterilised)

Cells are adult stem cells that need to be sent away for cultring then applied. (patient remains in hospital)

= ethical issues and increased hospital and healthcare costs; incresed chance of infection.

ReCell = applied using an adapted syringe with a commonly available aerosol attachment; spray then dispose.

use patients own skin and have the whole procedure done in 20-30 mins.

= No issues with costs (except initial outlay to buy kit)
    nor infection or rejection.

If the gun can deliver better then great, we'll probably colaborate in the future, but this is many years down the track and by that stage BD will prob have the cash to buy the tech off him anyways.

It's 'gimicky', 'futuristic' and 'star treky' so it gets air time...

Ours is boring ... but cheap, very efficient and works (as 4500 people will attest).

It's not an issue in the short to medium term.
