Been trading a long time. To me things are getting out of hand with this type of thing in Australia.
Of course I have been caught, even after 21 years still sometimes sucked in.
Another warning bell I forgot to include was sharp movements in the stock proir to an announcement and out of the blue. Stock rallies 7-8% then 12-24 houirs later out comes the news. No real announcements for a month prior to the surprise announcement.
To me plain insider trading. Funny how it never seems to get picked up ... ever. Even a director indicating to an investor any announcement is going to come out constitutes a private briefing and if the investor acts on the information its called insider trading. Simple check of phone records can confirm any contact between the parties.
Sorry bee in my bonnet about this. If we just look at the most posted companies for today on HC and check against the list of things to watch ............
Of course I said 99%. There is the odd one but, well frnakly the number of companies that have been in play this year is astounding. Some for days some for weeks and others for months. Can't think of many that have turned out correct. HDR is an exception .... 12 months one of the most talked about stocks on HC but 12 months ago $1.04 ... now even after big pullback $1.55 .....
I shall shorten this initial post and make it very much more generic and just post it under stocks I think are being ramped ..... saves a lot of time and covers a lot of ground.
Sick of trying to save the lemmings !!
