I'm no mathematician and this is a simplified take but here are my results.
If we assume:
p = .5 (50% chance of life)
q = .5 (50% chance of death)
n = 12 opportunities
k = 10 outcomes of Life
Using the standard binomial formula
There's a 1.6% or 1 in 62 probability this occurred by chance.
In other words there is a 98.4% probability that this result did not occur by chance alone.
I'm no mathematician and this is a simplified take but here are...
