Works for a retired old fart like me. I don't trade. I'm big on buy and hold. So I only do the research thing once every couple of years or so to rebalance unless there is a crisis like this present one.
And besides, have you seen the stats on how useless these self styled analysts are with their forecasts.
I'm not far off calling it quits with stocks and selling the lot and moving into Index fund ETFs. Just doing the sums now vis-a-vis the reduction in income.
