Strange as it may seem the obligation is upon the shareholder to lodge the forms with the ASX for announcement. Any company worth their salt will monitor their larger holdings and be on top of movements requiring announcements and send a friendly reminder to them to lodge the required forms. It is all about looking after all the shareholders through the right flow of information.
But then again when has GWR shown an inclination to be concerned about the interests of all of their shareholders....
