An interesting article on Haleu that gives up a bit more info on what the visions are for production.
A new bit of info (for me at least) was that the Gle pilot plant will only need two laser modules. I didn't know whether it was two or several. The first is being installed now.
Also it appears that Haleu plants may be add on capacity that takes Leu feed. Urenco seemed to indicate a capital cost of $250-$400 million for that additional plant. Pretty cheap in the scheme of things I think.
Also that at today's prices $11200 worth of leu feed would be required for every kg of Haleu. That's $280 million just in the feed cost to produce 25tonnes of Haleu. The Doe have repeatedly used the words initial funding when talking about that 700 million they have for Haleu. Also no wonder MG indicated at the agm that Leu production was looking more likely.
