Its a very unclear that is for sure. That asset value is net of costs to store it, dispose of it or re-enrich it. So, that zero to $300M value range might equal 'net profit', a subject very relevant to the current DOE/GLE discussions. The GAO went on to say the fact that private sector companies participated in the Request for Proposals, the tails might have significant economic value. But they dont know what value.
Still, these guys are auditors and this is their job to raise questions. I hope this doesn't delay the Paducah talks.
