does abbott support his own policy?

Abbott's Direct Action policy is supposed to reduce carbon emissions by 5% below those in 1990.

Now he's saying that the 5% target is 'crazy'.

He changes his mind so much he's forgotten which mind he's supposed to have on today :D

(Of course Abbott's big socialist tax won't reduce carbon emissions at all (though it would cost us all big time) - because it relies on farmers saving 61% carbon emissions and taxpayers forking out the money to pay carbon emitters for the other 39%.)
