Have similar concerns. At a China presention recently, the investment manager said that just because a country and sharemarket is flying, don't expect the manager to be doing anywhere near as well. The problem is that when a country is going through rapid development, the top 20 in 5 years looks nothing like the top 20 today, thus very hard for traditional investment managers to find the winners well before they are part of the top 20. When they are in the top 20 it is time to sell.
No idea whether this is supported empiracally, but thought it was an interesting comment.
I would probably sell if the NTA discount wasn't so great. However, I have some comfort that if the A$ crashes again, then this may hold up ok. Maybe the A$ is hurting the sp ATM.
