Mainstream Australia, such as it was in the 50/60s, no longer exists, BB. It has long been diluted by a myriad of factions insisting their voice be heard. So I put to you that the First Australian's also deserve a meaningful/credible Voice, given the indignities they have endured at our hand, which didn't really start to dissipate until the late 70's/80's. Had we treated them like humans from the get go, then this situation currently being argued would never have risen its head. We reap what we sow.
