We have been in the worst bear market in 70 years. I think you would agree that they don't last forever.
Good luck to those earning negative returns on cash and fixed income. They will eventually seek risk. Because they have to.
Re your yen comment....its generally not too wise to bet against central banks. Just look at what the Swiss national bank did.
