well the value of the AMP income securities would be based on the value of what they were worth when you got those - which may be determined by the value of the GIO shares at that time.
I don't think there was any CGT rollover relief on that GIO takeover, so the original cost of the GIO shares would not have been all that relevant I would not have thought.
