    The exchange rate losses do not make a difference for Westfield. It really is only a loss on paper.

    They money is never converted in AUD, all the US dollars they make are used to repay US debt and is spent/banked in the US.

    They have always operated like this so it doesn?t matter what their profits are reported, there are never really and gains or losses from conversion.
