No problem, didn't see what you said it that way. I agree with you that cash in the bank should be just that. I can however understand that it will be missleading in the quarterlies if the liabilities side of the balance sheet is not reported, but that seems to be the way the quarterlies pro-forma is designed. I should have twigged to that.

I'll take your word for how the balance sheet should work but if the quaterlies isn't a real balance sheet and the half yearly report is then they can't be compared or can they?

I have enough trouble with my accountant who keeps shifting my accounts around saying the tax department likes them shown differently to how I want it so I would be lost trying to work out the arguments about what bits where supposed to go where in a larger company balance sheet.
