So you don't mind seeing the share price taking a dive of 700% after the 1000bopd announced at A4, when it was over the 4 cent mark. Then there was oil pumped, be it at a low level!
You keep talking about the rewards to come. For those long termers a reward has to be a share price of at least 8 or 9cents, because we are talking here high risk oil exploration. That requires a 1300 to 1500% increase.
And don't come with averaging down here, as the money at risk is for many already more than they anticipated.
If management was performing as they should a year or so ago, perhaps averaging down would be justified for some, but it is management and additional share showers, who created this current share price debacle, for the benefit of the SI's, LAR and mates, but at the cost of the loyal long term shareholders.
Of course it is the oil, what counts, but if there were no other issues than waiting for the outcome and management keeping better in touch with share holders and have regular checks of what is happening on the ground by going there themselves, the share price would have been at least triple of what it is now.
Don't forget, that PL has a foot in both camps, as he was initially going to take over the prospect with his Range (but stopped allegedly by his chairman) and he and the LAR managements are very good pals, who I expect to have their own plans with this Guatemalan exercise. I agree with Dazzaa on that one.
Anyhow, all we can do is wait this one out and hopefully recover some of our losses, before the next down spiralling has started.
This is not an investment, but clearly a punt by now!
