A dollar in the hand is worth two in the bush.
By selling and participating in the capital raise my shareholding is the same (although diluted).

I am making profit from my total position in SGR and so I am happy with my actions.

The risk (of opportunity cost) is the proposed taxation rates don't pass parliament, in which case I loose upside (since I sold equivalent number of shares at $1.50 that I get to buy at $1.20odd).

The benefit is I capture profit (especially as I was buying at $1.30 and under) and then selling some at $1.50.

So its a trade off to me, one hand in, one hand out.

Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered.

I don't plan on being a pig with SGR given the uncertainty.
