persistentone you are brushing over some very important points
1) Hotcopper did the right thing in suspending this poster. If there was ever a reason to do so, this was it.
2) I think they had no choice but to remove your original post because it would have led others to what was obviously a fraudulent site. Not doing so could have resulted in some unsuspecting folks out there being fooled into thinking it was real. Why should hotcopper open themselves out to this kind of trouble. Better to err on the side of caution.
3)Just as websites can be fraudulent, letters too can also be forged (even though they may at first glance appear to be legitimate). Did you notice the letter was very suspect too, it had no date, no reference notations, sections of it were blocked out and looked very dodgy. If someone has nothing to hide, why not put their name too it?
As I've said before, the ASX is the first place to go and make your inquiries.
