boat turn-backs were initially a deplorable strategy when the boats would be towed out of our jurisdictional boundaries and left to survive as they might. theres no record of how many ships sunk and how many died because of this neglect.

turn-backs started to work properly when the boats were towed back to the nearest port . this was a safe and appropriate practice, I'm forced to admit by the evidence.

but more is needed as more people have been accumulating in Indonesia..... and Sri Lanka has not become a place where people feel safe and have legitimate opportunities for work. so people will keep coming.

and now Dud is deliberately inviting more boats to come to Aus by falsely claiming that Albanese's management of ABF has changed the ability of ABF to detect and manage boats which come into out waters.

we still have not heard a reasonable explanation from ABF as to why this boat was able to avoid detection..... sick leave doesn't suffice.
