I think there needs to be rationalisation in the listed education providers (and there are activist funds with cross holdings) and a tie up between NXD and EDU certainly is a possibility. I would imagine a merger of sorts rather than a knock-out premium for control takeover bid. EDU shareholders have been burnt with the failed Cap Raise/buyout of Nursing Training provider and is too small a fish.
