"inspired Word of God" are you referring to the collection of stories that some refer to as "the old testament"? if so, a lot of it is very uninspiring, but there is some gold nuggets here and there, such as in ecclesiastes 7 v5 and proverbs 23: v29-35
this is what jesus had to say about the old testament god: John 8:44: “Ye are of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it”.
yes folks, the old testament god broke his promises, threw hissy fits, and got high from sniffing burning bodies...
