I have been reading some fine philosophical points on this forum between well read contributors.
I would like some views on a simple point of practical importance in the life of simple soldiers and citizens. Does God's laws as the individual believes them trump God's law?
If a soldier is ordered by his superior to drop bombs on civilians should he do so?
There seems to be a different answer if one is an officer or an enlisted man, seems like an arbitary distinction to me.
There is clearly a distinction if you are on the winning or losing side (witness Nuremburg).
Or on your religion (makes you either a terrorist, rebel, free army member or patriot).
