They publicly declare that they know God, but they disown him by their works, because they are detestable and disobedient and not approved for good work of any sort.
Are you talking about people who publicly disown religion, claim nothing about God except that they know of no evidence to support his existence, but somehow know God through following his directives to love and support their eighbours? In any case you believe that as these people, like your father, are not JWs and will therefore not receive salvation (unless they become JWs) don't you? These people are still regarded as sufficiently evil or non-compliant to end up in the same place (eternal death) as the most vile , not so?
You claim to find it easier to reason with atheists. Do you just ignore them like you ignore me most the time?
