(2 Peter 2:1, 2) However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you. These will quietly bring in destructive sects, and they will even disown the owner who bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves. Furthermore, many will follow their brazen conduct, and because of them the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively.
MrGordon,
Don't you ever stop to consider that this may apply to Watchtower's self appointed "representatives" of God? Have you considered the possibility that their history of failed prophecies is an indicator that they may be false prophets? Have you ever considered that the changing of scripture to coincide with their doctrines is a symptom of false teaching? Have you ever considered the fact that their being happy to split families through their exclusive doctrine flies in the face of the teachings of Jesus?
Time to take stock MrGordon. Better late than never.
