What it says in the bible no more proves that what it says in the bible is true than what it says in the Quran proves that what it says in the Quran is true...or the Gita, Upanishads, etc.
These are all claims made without the support of verifiable evidence.
Therefore they are matters of faith. Contradictory at that.
