I will not denigrate Watso.
He has every right to his opinions
But I put it to you.
We all make choices about the things we do,
what we follow,
what we ignore.
Examples
You turn the radio on and do not like the music,
so you ignore it and you change the station.
Ditto with the TV
You don’t t like the programme,
so you ignore it change the channel.
You go to a restaurant and don’t like a dish on the menu
You ignore it and chose another dish
But you still “bother ‘ to listen to the radio, watch TV, or dine out.
And you do discriminate if you know there is a programme or event coming up
which you don’t like or are not interested in........You ignore it
a personal example
I am not even slightly interested in horse racing.
So I never look at the racing channel on TV.....I ignore it
It does not mean I don’t “bother” to watch the other channels.
Similarly with Hotcopper
I am very interested in many of the forums and comments
But I can no longer be “bothered” with Watso.
And Hotcopper does have this convenient facility....The “ignore” button
My only mistake was to actually announce I had put him on ignore.
