yeah, I think the subprime hysteria associated with BNB and MBL is well and truly behind them. If you read all the reports, both these companies have had insignificant exposure to subprime rubbish. So much so that both have posted record profits/forecasts since the subprime, with more profits and good news to come. Their investement stratergies are refrenshingly sound and nothing short of brilliant. They both very quickly became 'out of fashion' during the subprime, but like when AMP was at its lowest, there was nothing fundamnetally worng with either of them. Hence their solid performances of late. These are the kind of stocks Buffet and Rivkin love - cheap and undervalued with great management.
