    Vendor,

I agree with what your saying and am totally against the word "Marriage" to be included for gay couples. The idea of "equality" as an argument is ludicrous to say the least.

Firstly, if equality is really what the issue is about, why is there a differentiation between the sexualities in the first place? Ex: Hetrosexual - Homosexual - Bisexual

Isn't identifying a persons sexuality showing that we are not equal. We all have different preferences and there is a need to identify those preferences. I would assume the Gay community would have to agree with that, otherwise they wouldn't have a Mandate to stand on in the first place.

Then why are they so inherent on stealing the word "Marriage" from our vocabulary to include Gay Couples when it was never intended for that purpose? It was intended for hetrosexuals. By all means,i don't have a problemwith Gay couples having exactly the same rights as Hetro couples.

I wouldn't have a problem if Gays had a word identifying thier own union as suggested by vendor as long as it does not incude the word "Marriage".

It is not and never will be.

    IMHO.

    Cheers markco2
