For those who want another entry into Burkina Faso perhaps the idea is to sell out of AMX and buy GRY or OBS, unless you already hold those shares.
It looks like Sprott also got AMX badly wrong or AMX's CEO was a really great spruiker, until he was found not to be wearing any clothes. How could AMX be so unlucky not to find enough oxide ore in 2 years of exploration for a PEA of a 150k ounce pa operation when that area was supposed to be full of gold? Poor exploration techniques? And what about their offshoot min-AMX (I can not recall its ASX code), is it still alive?
I guess the goldie analyst at my broker was right in mid 2011 when he told me to stay away from the west African goldies because they were way over-priced.
But a pretty good run today for many goldie producers today. Some of it due to short covering I suppose.
