There being no obvious alternative I'll say my piece here
I am not sure where it came from bit I suspect it was either the clouds of bushfire dust & smoke or the massive cloudburst that came in February (?).
Whatever, about a week or so ago we were overwhelmed with an invasion of Cape weed, something we'd not seen before.
It's a flat weed with numerous daisy-like flowers.
I thought I must ask one of the old timers in the area how they dealt with it, but when I looked around none of them were left , all died or moved away. I'm the last of the old timers I know
I tried mowing it short - waste of time. I'll just have to let it run its course.
